Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010

Have you ever wondered how you could design your own personalised champagne label? Well this little tutorial will show you how! Just follow the steps below to create a unique and thoughtful wedding gift!

Engraved Champagne

Engraved Champagne

1) Before we start anything you need to decide what kind of champagne you would like to purchase – personalised champagne where you design the label yourself or engraved champagne. With engraved champagne all you need to do is decide on the message that you would like to have engraved into the bottle and then you just add this text into our text box, position is until you are happy and then voila you have your engraved champagne ready to go into the shopping cart! That is the simplest version of the personalised champagne, yet for me I think it is the nicest. A engraved champagne bottle with silver or gold text just looks amazing! However if you would rather have a label on the champagne gift then you need to choose our personalised champagne, but with that you can either choose from our range of labels that we have specifically designed or you can design your own personalised champagne label.

2) If you choose to design your own personalised champagne label then you will be directed to a screen whereby you can upload images, add graphics and text to a

label. You can manipulate the design by rotating the image and graphics and moving them around the label, you can also move the text around the label until you are happy wih the design! When you are you have to choose the type of champagne that you want and then add it to the cart! Simple :) Design your own personalised champagne gift is really thoughtful – you’ve taken the time and effort to think about what is going to go onto the label, you’ve thought about the text and you even edited it so that it looks good! When you put time and effort into buying a gift, it is appreciated! I do like personalised champagne – how many people do you know that have a bottle of champagne with their own personalised label?

A pre-designed personalised champagne label

3) If you decide that you do want to design a personalised champagne label but you dont know where to start then you can actually personalise one of our pre-designed champagne labels that have been specially created just for that purpose! All you need to do is think of the text that you would like to have added to the label and then just add that to it. You’ll need to move the text around the label until you are happy with it! But essentially all the hard work is done for you – however you still are creating a unique gift!

Whichever option you choose to create your personalised champagne, just remember that it is a special gift. Champagne is synonymous with celebration and therefore is makes a wonderful gift!

Champagne Gifts for Wedding

Friday, November 19th, 2010

Searching for the perfect wedding gift is rarely an easy task. I hate wedding gift lists – I understand the logic behind them, but I don’t want to get something that is on a list that lots of other people might be buying for the bride and groom, no.

Champagne Sets

Champagne Sets

If I was going to get something off of a gift list then it would make more sense to give the bride and groom some money. When I shop for wedding presents, I prefer to get something the couple have never thought about. Something witty, fun or something that they have never thought about. For this reason, I like to give personalised wedding gifts – things like an engraved wedding frame, which I gave to one of my friends in August after her wedding with a 6 x 4 photo of her and her groom. In the past I have also given champagne gifts and bottle gifts, which go down really well including personalised champagne, engraved champagne and champagne sets too!

Weddings are a time for celebrations and what better way to celebrate than toasting with a flute or two of champagne? This thought allows you to go for one of three personalised wedding gifts related to champagne : personalised champagne, where you can design your own champagne label as a fun and unusual wedding gift – you could add a photograph of the happy couple and a message to wish them well in their life together. Alternatively, you may prefer for us to do the design work for you, in which case, use one of our wedding champagne label designs to add your heartfelt congratulations message on to. Finally, the last of the first options when it comes to bottle gifts for wedding is a bottle of engraved champagne.

. I have given this on many occasions and it seriously looks stunning!

Engraved Flutes

The second type of champagne gifts you could

Bride and Groom Wedding Flutes

give includes engraved wedding flutes (now I know these don’t exactly class as bottle gifts, however we can make them class as bottle gifts, by combining them with a bottle of brand champagne, personalised champagne or engraved champagne and a gift box. Which leads me nicely on to my last of the three champagne gift options in the form of champagne sets.

Champagne Sets

Depending on your budget there are a variety to choose from including sparkling wine sets and house champagne sets if you are on a budget, as well as luxury champagne gift sets, beautiful personalised champagne sets and if you are wedding gift shopping for brides and grooms who like their labels, then brand champagne sets may be more in order.

Personalised Champagne

I suggest making wedding gift shopping easier, especially if you are like me and don’t like sticking to a gift list. Go out of the box and give a gorgeous champagne gift instead; no matter whether it is some engraved flutes, a bottle of engraved champagne or even some stunning champagne sets.

Wedding Champagne and Champagne Flutes

Wedding Champagne and Champagne Flutes

Champagne Flutes

Modern champagne flutes are available in many different price ranges, from the expensive high quality crystal champagne flutes for the champagne enthusiast to the more basic and affordable standard champagne flutes for the everyday drinker, and it is also a fact that there are collectors of vintage glassware and champagne flutes.

It is natural that glass gets broken, and this is one reason why vintage champagne flutes fetch very high prices at auction; another is that they are very attractive designs indeed. Many display their collections in specialist display cabinets designed specifically for the presentation of glassware.

Looking at champagne flutes is like analysing curves as they naturally occur; the lines are almost perfect in their display and function and they present a very elegant and beautiful object. The shape of the glass – tall and thin – also prevents the ability to ‘glug’ at champagne, as champagne flutes are meant to be elegantly sipped at!

Engraved champagne flutes make attractive presents – for a 21st birthday, a wedding or any other special occasion – and can be had from many fine makers, and a set of champagne flutes is essential in any household where the dinner party is part and parcel of the social whirl.

Tall and elegant, functional and beautiful, champagne flutes reflect a world of high class drinking and ceremony that has its roots in the annals of history.

Champagne flutes are designed to help keep the drink fizzy and lively, by having a narrow opening that does not encourage the escape of gases; this is one school of thought that, in truth, has no basis in scientific fact, yet may have been the original reason for introducing the champagne flute as the standard way of serving the drink. It is a nice story, however, and one that adds gravitas to the development of the champagne flute.

If you are looking for a good wedding present I’d definitely go for an engraved champagne flute, it’s simple stylish and unique. You know it makes sense.

Alongside engraved champagne flutes you may want to get a bottle gift to go with it. Ideally I’d go for a champagne gift – we offer both engraved champagne as well as personalised champagne, where you design the label of the champagne gift. There are two ways that you can design the label, either by uploading photos and adding text or by choosing one of our pre-designed labels and personalising one of them! Simple.

How to make a good toast …. using a champagne flute!

Wedding Toast!

Wedding Toast!

For any celebration whether it is a wedding or a birthday at some point the “toasts” will start. There is nothing worse than a poorly rehersed speech or someone who has been put on the spot to make a toast. So here are a few tips on how to make a good toast and ensure that it is a success:

1. How do you know them?

2. Why did they choose you to make a toast (remember it is an honour to have someone ask you to do a speech or toast – do you really want to blow it by saying something stupid?)?

3. How would you describe them? What are the first five adjectives that come to mind?

4. How has the person that you are toasting about changed since you met them? For example at a wedding if you are the best man then you need to consider how your friend has changed since meeting the bride. (If it’s for the worst in your opinion DO NOT say so).

5. If you are married, you may wish to think about marriage advice you’ve received or have learned.

6. Are there any particularly amusing anecdotes that illustrate the person for whom you are giving the speech? Funny is good, rude is not.

How to write your speech:

Beginning

Start off by introducing yourself, as not everyone in the room will know who you are. If you are at a wedding: you might say “Excuse me everyone, if I could have your attention for a moment. I’d like to take a few moments to say a few words about our bride and groom. I’m John Doe, Patrick’s best man and longtime good friend” (sometimes when people stand to give a speech they “clink” their champagne flute). To get people’s attention, you might insert a quick joke, just to make sure that people are listening. Before you get too far into your speech, you should thank the people hosting, at a wedding that is usually the parents of the bride.

Middle

Let’s talk in terms of a wedding speech and discuss how you would phrase the bulk of the speech. This is where the notes you wrote down before will really come in handy. Tell a funny story about the bride and/or groom (note I said “funny” not humiliating!), give your thoughts on love and marriage, tell the story of how they met, or talk about how you’ve seen them change through their relationship. While you may know the groom better, try to make your toast balanced, speaking about each of them. Try not to talk too long as nobody wants to hear you ramble, but do give some interesting details. At all costs, avoid ex-girlfriend stories and keep it clean for kids and grandmothers in the room! No one would appreciate a rude speech and you definitely will not be in the bride’s best books. Most of all, if you are sincere about what you are saying, and your words come from the heart, it’s hard to go wrong.

Closing

It’s often good to wrap up your toast with a wish, traditional toast, or blessing for the bride and groom. Raise your glass with a resounding congratulations, cheers, l’chaim or salud, and don’t forget to drink to your own toast! Here’s where the champagne flutes come into play.

I suggest writing your toast down on a notecard or two (remember, I said to keep it brief!) and practicing it a few times so that you’re not reading straight from the card. You may also wish to run your toast by a trusted friend who can give you some feedback.

A few tips on delivering that toast:

Remember, even though you’re nervous, to speak loudly and clearly.Hopefully you’ll have a microphone, but even if you do you’ll need to make sure to enunciate. Nothing worse than listening to five minutes of mumbling nonsense.

Don’t drink too much before you give your speech. A drink or two might help loosen you up, but more than that and you’ll just look like a fool.

Don’t read straight from the card. These are supposed to be heart-felt words, not a scripted response. It’s better to paraphrase what you’ve written, and get the general sentiment across. Of course, you can have your notes handy, just remember to make eye-contact with the people you are speaking to.

Didn’t your mother always tell you to stand up straight? That goes twice when toasting.

If you lose your notes, or just choke up there, there’s nothing wrong with a simple “Congratulations”.

At some weddings I have seen the bestman give the bride and groom a wedding gift … when presenting it to them he claimed that anything he had to say could not convey how happy he was for the newly wed couple. The only way that he could express his own happiness was to give them a wedding gift that he believed would show them this. The gift he gave them was a champagne gift set with a personalised champagne bottle and engraved champagne flutes. On the engraved champagne flutes he had their names written and the date of the wedding and on the bottle of champagne was a photo of the happy couple and a poem that the bestman had written himself. This poem he read to the guests. Now if you think about it, the best man not only got away with making a simple speech – he always took the limelight away from him and put it back on the bride and groom – I remember him telling me how nervous he had been, if he’d had to make a full speech who knows what would have happened!

At another wedding I went to (this was a very lavish affair, a beautiful wedding I must say)… each of the guests had their very own personalised champagne flute which had been engraved with their name. When it came to toasting the happy couple it was with these champagne flutes that they did so! The great thing was that they go to keep their champagne flutes after as their wedding favour!

The Bestman

The Bestman

Before I start telling the groom what he should buy as a best man gift I thought I should outline the duties of the best man, so he understands why the groom is buying him a thank you best man gift. Being the best man isn’t easy…. I previously have posted about how to be a good best man and how to perform your duties as the best man in the most suitable way… but I think I just need to recap over this. The role of the best man is very important and so attention must be paid…

If are lucky enough to be chosen by the groom to be the best man at his wedding, it’s perfectly normal to feel a little sense of pride, afterall the role of best man is a real honour. However it is also normal to realise what you have committed to and feel a slight sense of fear. Actually, in today’s era the you’ve got it easy. When the German Goths began the best man tradition nearly 2,000 years ago, the best man had to fight off the bride’s angry relatives when the groom kidnapped her. All you’ve got to do is have a party, make a toast, and make sure the wedding runs smoothly.

Here are a few tips to help make sure that you make the best possible best man that you can be:

1) You should be the groom’s aide and confidente, someone that he can rely on during the wedding period. Whatever he needs – you need to provide. If he gets cold feet, you as the best man need to be there to support him and help him work through it.

2) As the best man the groomsmen are your responsibility. You need to make sure that you keep them in line. Think about it like this; you are the general and they are your soldiers and you serve the groom so you need to help make sure that the groom’s special day is not ruined by yours or the groomsmens antics… (which can often involve your bridesmaid counterparts). Make sure everyone has their tuxedos and that they have all tried them on. Brief them on how to usher guests at the wedding and on where and how they are to stand during the ceremony.

3) Organise the groom’s stag night/buck’s party/bachelor party [delete as appropriate]. The party is the first of your responsibilities; probably the best one too! It’s a night to kick back with all your buddies and send the groom off in style. Bachelor parties can be anything from nights out to holidays abroad. It’s generally held a few days or a week before the wedding, but do coordinate with the groom to figure out the best time. If your planning a week away or a trip to Las Vegas then make sure it’s a few weeks before the wedding! The best man is usually in charge of all planning, though some tasks can be delegated to the groomsmen who should also help you pay. The plans are usually hidden (at least somewhat) from the groom, so consider what he would like, as a guide. But, start arranging and inviting ASAP. If he isn’t a fan of strippers then don’t get him one just because you will like it. It’s not your bachelor party.

4) Help the groom on the big day i.e. get him ready – On the big day, you should be ready to provide the groom with all the moral support he needs. It’s good to also have a checklist of things that you need to do or that the groom needs to bring with him. In the chaos of the wedding things can be forgotten but if you have a checklist then nothing is left to chance.

5) During the wedding ceremony you have two jobs – 1) make sure you and the groom both turn up before the bride. THAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT. 2) hold on tight to the wedding rings, if you lose them it’s certainly not going to look good on you!

6) Leave the ceremony before the bride and groom – once you’ve had your pictures taken with the happy couple head to the venue and ensure that everything is in order. The maid of honour is likely to accompany you too so find out beforehand is she is coming to the venue with you or with the bride. You wont be faffing about waiting if you know the plan beforehand.

7) Make the best man’s speech. This is one of the highlights of the wedding. Make sure that you prepare your toast beforehand, it will go a lot smoother. It’s also a good idea to carry some notes with you, even if you’ve memorized your toast. You don’t want to read the toast word-for-word, but you also don’t want to forget anything important. Look good and speak loud enough for everyone to hear you. If it goes wrong, well tough luck; at least you tried to be prepared.

8) You CANNOT get absolutely hammered in the first hour of the reception. No, no and NO. You need to make sure that you help get everyone on the dancefloor and dance too. If the bestman can’t get on the dancefloor and boogie – why should anyone else?

9) Decorate the wedding car – I’ve seen some crazy decorating when it comes to the wedding vehicle. But have fun with it!

Now a tip for the groom. Your bestman will have to put up with a lot from you while you getting ready for your big day. Whether it is your own personal wedding stress or the fact that you are reeling from an encounter from BRIDEZILLA! Whatever it is your best man will have to put up and shut up. But remember that he is doing all that for you, so you should make sure that you get him a best man gift that shows him that you think he has done an outstanding job. If you are looking for a suitable best man gift to give as a thank you wedding gift then here is one excellent idea:

ENGRAVED CHAMPAGNE FLUTES.

If you want to get your best man a really thoughtful thank you wedding gift then you should think about getting him some engraved champagne flutes. We have one of the biggest ranges of engraved champagne flutes available and each of our champagne flutes can be personalised with a really special message. We offer single flutes as well as double flutes. Each one can be individually personalised. We have one customer who purchase an engraved champagne flute set as a gift for his best man and each flute was personalised with a different message – the first thanked him for being the best man and the second engraved champagne flute had a short verse about what it means to be a ‘friend’. I have to admit of all the personalised gifts that I have seen that gift was my favourite.

Isn’t that what a gift should be… personalised and thoughtful. Showing that you’ve spent time looking for the perfect gift. Engraved champagne flutes offer just that.

Top 5 Wedding Gifts

Friday, October 29th, 2010

A wedding is a really special occasion, well actually I am stating the obvious here. But when it comes to gifts the bride and groom are likely to recieve a lot of gifts throughout the duration of their wedding. Although I am sure that they would be happy with whatever they were given, you probably want your gift to be one that stands our from the crowd? One that the couple either uses regularly or displays in their home and remembers that you were the one who gave it to them for their wedding:

So here are our top 5 gifts:

1) Personalised champagne – champagne in general is a popular gift to give as a wedding present, but if you want to give something really memorable then give a bottle of personalised champagne. You can design a champagne label yourself using our personalisation software, upload images and add graphics to the label to create a unique one-off wedding label that the bride and groom are sure to love. If you aren’t really particularly creative then we have range of personalised champagne labels that we have designed specifically for you to use. You can personalise these labels in the same way that you would personalise a greetings card! Except with this you can change the font, font colour, font size and positioning of the font on the label.

2) The next gift that we have chosen is slightly more expensive than the labelled champagne but it is a still a personalised champagne gift – engraved champagne is a real luxury gift item and looks beautiful. We engraved your message directly onto the bottle and then colour the engraving either silver or gold depending on your choice of font colour. You can change the font size and the font style depending on your preference.

3) Number three in the list is still a champagne gift – but this time its our personalised champagne flutes. We have a wonderful selection of engraved champagne flutes that are ideal for wedding gifts. You can personalise both flutes with the same message or you can have seperate message engraved onto each of the flutes – the latter option is the most popular. As with the engraved champagne you can change the font colour, font size and font style.

4) My personal favourite is our champagne gift sets. These make wonderful gift ideas for the bride and groom. You can create a gift set of your choosing by picking one of our champagne gift boxes, choosing whether you want an engraved bottle of champagne or a personalised champagne gift and then choosing a set of engraved champagne flutes to go with the box and champagne. We have create a number of personalised champagne gift sets, but like I said you don’t have to use our examples – you can make your own champagne gift set. If you don’t want to give a bottle of personalised champagne then you could also buy a bottle of brand champagne and engraved champagne flutes. Just a thought.

5) Finally at number 5 we have our engraved magnum champagne! This is a actually very popular and is usually bought with a set of personalised champagne flutes too.

I realise that all of these gifts are champagne related. But if you don’t want to give champagne we also have a huge range of personalised wine gifts and engraved gifts that would make wonderful wedding presents.

Choosing the Wedding Dress

Bride's Dress

Bride's Dress

You know you’ve dreamt about walking down the aisle since you were a little girl. What girl hasn’t, the beautiful white dress, the flowers in your hair, the music playing… we’ve all thought about it. But when it comes to buying your wedding dress, whether you buy one off the rack or have one that is made especially for you, make sure you follow this tips to help you get the perfect dress for you big day!

1) Start the search for your dress at six to nine months before the wedding. Having a dress made from scratch takes time, as do alterations. Don’t leave it until the last minute.

2) Look in bridal magazines for styles of dresses that you like and then when you go to the bridal dress shop you’ll be able to whip it out and show them they style of dress you want. It will give you inspiration and help the shop assistant to find exactly what you are looking for.

3) When you are choosing a wedding dress you need to think about your ceremony, afterall your dress needs

bride and bridesmaid

bride and bridesmaid

to match the event; choose a style that is appropriate for the ceremony. For a formal evening wedding, a floor-length dress in ivory, white, cream or champagne, often worn with gloves and a train, is an elegant choice. Semiformal dresses can be also be pastels, a floorbrushing (ballerina) length, with a short veil and no train. At a less-formal or second wedding, the bride may choose a long or short dress, or even a two-piece suit. A short veil may be very stylish paired with a classic pillbox hat.

4) You may like a style of dress but if it doesn’t flatter your figure you are not going to be happy with the wedding photos. Flatter your figure with a dress that suits you. Take a trusted, honest sister or friend who has your best interests at heart for feedback. Try one of each basic shape–princess, ball gown, sheath and empire waist–to see which flatters you most. Check that you can walk, turn, sit and bend comfortably, as well as lift your arms and hug loved ones without splitting a seam. Comfort and confidence are vital on this day of days. The dress may look nice but you need to be able to move in it too.

5) Shop around for your dress, don’t just go to one bridal shop and then pick the first one that you try on. You need to see what is available. If you have your heart set on a particular dress, that’s fine. Keep it in mind, but don’t settle until you’ve exhausted all other opportunities too. Try on designer dresses so that you can see the difference in quality, then choose a dress dependant on your budget… most wedding dresses are styled from designer dresses anyway.

6) When you set the budget, stick to it. You can only wear your wedding dress once so although you will want to shine on this big day don’t forget that once the dress is worn it will sit in your closet for the rest of your married days….

7) Find out when bridal stores are having dress sales, you could find a real steal if you keep an eye out for these.

8) Make sure you get all the details for the dress; name, manufacturer, dress shop, cost, alterations cost, time allocation, cancellation deal if the dress isn’t ready in time.

9) Contingency plans – what happens if your dress is not ready in time. You need to have a contingency plan. You can’t just cancel the wedding because the dress isn’t ready. I would find local shops that sell wedding dresses so that if you have to find something last minute you’ll be able to do so.

Quick Tip:

When buying you dress you want quality so go for beads that have been sewn into the dress, not stuck on. Buy french lace, not the cheap stuff as it’s very stiff.

Weddings are all about the fun as well as the planning. So when you have found the dress why not get the girls round and celebrate! It’s one major thing to tick off the list and a reason to celebrate. I know someone who had a champagne party after she’d found her dress… she asked all her bridesmaids to bring a bottle of champagne of their choice. One of her bridesmaid bought her a bottle of personalised champagne with a picture of her in the dress shop trying on the dresses (obviously she didn’t use the picture of the bride in her actual wedding dress), it was a lovely champagne gift to give. Needless to say, that personalised champagne bottle did not get drunk and actually sits in her “wedding cupboard” where the bride put all the little trinkets and such that were a special part of her wedding.

Thank You Wedding Gifts

Wednesday, October 20th, 2010

I was having a read through “Brides” Magazine and I came across this article: “Dance, Me? Never…” It’s basically the groom’s perspective of the wedding dance and what he and his partner did to ensure they had the most beautiful wedding dance imaginable. What he did say was that they left learning the wedding dance until the last minute… in fact two weeks before their wedding. To me, that sounds insane – how can you learn to dance in two weeks especially when you have all the other stresses of the wedding planning to get through. I think that is also the same when you are thinking of buying thank you gift for the people that have helped your out during your wedding (a thank you gift for your dance teacher would be a good idea). The wedding is a stressful affair and it’s important that you don’t leave things to the last minute. A few of our customers have left buying their thank gift you till a few days before their wedding and there have been frantic phonecalls to make sure that it all gets to the bride and groom in time! It can also be quite expensive to arrange delivery and discounts that you may get for a “bulk” buy may not apply if you leave things to the last minute.

If you are a bit unsure of what to get as thank you gifts then here are a few ideas:

As bridesmaid gift you could either a bottle of engraved champagne or another engraved gift. engraved cufflinks that he could wear on the wedding day. In fact you could all the groomsmen matching cufflinks that they could wear with their wedding suits. Just an idea.

For the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom you could again for go engraved champagne and Engraved Compact Mirrors or you could get them something a bit different like a set of engraved champagne flutes each. Champagne flutes make a lovely wedding gift too, so if you are looking for a wedding gift for the bride and groom why not get them a set of engraved champagne flutes and engrave each glass, one with the groom’s name and the other with the bride’s name.

For the ushers you could get them engraved cufflinks or an engraved pen…. pens are quite a popular gift as thank you wedding gifts.

These are just a few ideas but whatever you decide to get as a thank you gift, personalised gifts are a really good idea :)

Utterly Useless Wedding Gifts

Wednesday, October 6th, 2010

So I was doing a bit of reading the other day and I came across some examples of gifts that people had given at weddings that were literally ‘utterly useless’ – when buying a wedding gift you should at least make sure the couple will be able to make some use out of it other wise it is just a waste of time and money! Just because I find them funny, here are a few examples:

1) One couple recieved a set of lemonade glasses and matching pitcher and this is what they said about them – “Every single one of the glasses AND the pitcher cracked the first time we washed them”. Don’t go cheap when buying a wedding gift!

2) The ‘regifter’ – one couple was given this, a set of towels with the price tags still on. There were two towels, two hand towels, and one washcloth. The tags were from a store in our area that closed in 1978, and the style was very 1970s. The wedding was in 1992.

3) Mrs Pip got this – The oddest gift Mr Pip and I received was a 10 lb block of cheese from his very strange sister.

4) ” We got about eighteen pasta forks when we got married”.

5) Needless to say someone will give you a kitchen appliance you will never use. If you did not drink someone would probably give you a beer making machine. The most useless appliances are the ones you would never use or even give them away to other couples as wedding gifts. If you got nine blenders they are more useful than an appliance that dries fruit and vegetables.

If you want to get a great gift for the happy couple then I have two recommendations – to be honest I go on and on about these, so if you are a regular reader you’ll know that I am a big advocate of personalised champagne and engraved gifts. Personalised champagne is where you design the label of the champagne and give a completely unique and one off gift to the couple. You can also get personalised champagne engraved to make the gift even more special. I’ve often said that although champagne is the gift of celebration you should not give it alone. The perfect accompaniment to any personalised champagne gift is a set of personalised engraved champagne flutes! These are the type of gift that can be enjoyed years after a wedding – once the champagne is drunk, it is drunk but the champagne flutes may last through the whole of the marriage!

The other gift I always go on about is the engraved photo frame. Every couple wants to display their wedding photo in their home and what could be better than to do it in a gift that was given to them at their wedding? The engraved photo frame can be personalised with a unique message of well wishes to the happy couple.

Whatever gift you do give the happy couple make sure that it is one that they can use and make the most of. There is no point in giving a gift that is going to end up in the bin! www.WeddingGifts2U.co.uk is the perfect place to find useFUL wedding gifts!

The perfect wedding gift

Tuesday, September 28th, 2010

Every couple is different, every couple’s wedding is different. So how then do you know what to buy the happy couple for their wedding, to wish them well in their life together? In all honesty when couple’s register for wedding gifts however impersonal it may seem to register it does make our lives as the guests much easier! You can just pick something off the list and you know that you can’t go wrong. However what if a couple decides not to register for a gift… what then? Well I have one fantastic suggestion, that I think is the best wedding gift you could buy any bride or groom!

For me this perfect wedding gift is a champagne set. It sounds simple and that is simply because it is. There are a number of combinations available.. the first being a standard bottle of champagne and some champagne flutes in a gift box. But that’s a little bit too simple… to make this gift really special you need to personalise. I’m sure the couple only intend to get married once so what could be more permanent then engraving? If you are going to give the happy couple a champagne gift then I think you should give them a bottle of personalised champagne, with two engraved flutes inside a gift box. That’s my own personal opinion.

Let’s first discuss the engraved flutes, there are loads of different types of flutes out there – so what kind do you choose.. just some simple flutes or do you choose some with a unique design? We offer a wide range of engraved champagne flutes with fancy designs that you could use to make up your champagne set… my favourite pair is our Bride and Groom Wedding Flutes, they are such a unique design. But we have loads to choose from so whichever kind of flute you want it’s pretty likely that we’ll have it (or at least we hope so, our range of engraved champagne flutes is one of the largest available on the net). So what you can do is choose from our range of champagne flutes and then engrave them with a personalised message. Our design software allows you engrave each of the flutes with a seperate or the same message. A lot of our customers like to personalise each flute with a different message – one to the groom and one to the bride. I like this idea – even though you are buying for the couple you are still keeping the gift quite individual.

So when you’ve chosen your flutes you then need to decide what kind of personalised bottle you would like. Personally I like engraved champagne – I just think it looks alot classier. However alot of our customers choose the personalised labelled champagne, the reason for this is that they can design the label themselves… uploading images and graphics! You can make some pretty interesting bespoke labels using our software. However if you are struggling for what to design then you can always use one of our labels.

However if you are really dont want to engrave a bottle of champagne or design your own label then why not consider the idea of getting personalised champagne flutes but then buying a bottle of brand champagne – for example Moet et Chandon, Cristal, Dom Perignon and many more. These luxury champagnes are well known and are seen as really special gift in their own right, if you match them up with engraved flutes and a gift box then you really are on to a winner!

Champagne is the epitome of celebration…
