As the summer approaches we know that wedding season is here and lots of us as invited to a number of weddings each year and we can often get stuck when it comes to buying the
wedding gift! I've been to number of weddings this summer (and it's not over yet).. for some reason everyone has chosen this year to get married and it's made wedding present buying a bit difficult. I want to get the happy couple a
wedding gift they will love, but I need to do it on a budget. I went to couple of Indian weddings and I noticed that a gift that seems to be quite popular at the moment is an engraved photo frame.
Nearly all couples will want to display their wedding photo in their home, pride of place... the idea of the engraved photo frame is that the happy couple will use the engraved photo gift and display their wedding photo in the frame for all to see.
While discussing presents at an Indian wedding I went to recently I asked why people would give an engraved photo frame as a wedding gift to the bride and groom. They said that it was simple - money or vouchers are a very impersonal gift. Although useful when moving into a new home or even going on the honeymoon. It is not the kind of gift that could last through the ages, nor is it a wedding gift that will be remembered for years to come. But a personalised photo frame is a simple wedding gift idea that can be placed on any mantlepeice in the home and if it displays a photo of the happy couple on their wedding day then that wedding gift will serve as a reminder that you gave them that frame on their wedding day :)
A gift that you give someone does not have to be expensive or elaborate. It should be thoughtful and that is what an engraved photo frame is. You've taken the time to think about what kind of wedding gift you would like to give. You have had the frame engraved with a unique and special message. That all adds to the sentiment of the gift.
